It is also only a twenty minute drive to Palma Nova where even wider facilities are available, although Cala Vinas does have a fair share of restaurants, pubs and shopping.

It is particularly suitable for families with smaller children as the seas are very calm in the cove which makes it easier for children and weak swimmers to bathe in the sea.
