Taking a holiday should be relaxing and laid-back, although it is also nice to enjoy some bustle and night life. With a visit to a Cala Vinas hotel, you are able to enjoy the best of both worlds; a peaceful holiday and the nightlife and excitement of nearby Magaluf.
This resort is small and it is set in an idyllic sheltered cove with beautiful white sandy beaches. It is close to the airport and is absolutely perfect for any holiday maker who wants to enjoy peaceful relaxing days and party at night time. It is also only a twenty minute drive to Palma Nova where even wider facilities are available, although Cala Vinas does have a fair share of restaurants, pubs and shopping.
Virtually everyone who has made Cala Vinas their home away from home whilst visiting the island of Majorca, has found it to be great. It is particularly suitable for families with smaller children as the seas are very calm in the cove which makes it easier for children and weak swimmers to bathe in the sea. These waters are also extremely clear, making them perfect for scuba divers and snorkelers to explore.
Peak Holiday season in Cala Vinas is from late April to late October while temperatures range from the twenties to mid thirties (degrees C). There are two water parks nearby and these are loved by both children and adults, the Tornado Slide is one of the most hair raising flumes, and Fantasia Golf is not to be missed. It is an 18-hole crazy golf course which is great fun for the entire family.
If you want to enjoy a relaxed night-life Cala Vina is the place to be, there are restaurants and pubs which provide some entertainment. But a short walk to Magaluf will bring you to a town that is literally buzzing with activity all night long.
A visit to the market in Andraxt on a Wednesday is a nice experience, but those holiday makers who require more serious shopping will have to travel to Palma. The Pirates Dinner adventure at late evening in Magaluf, is something every adult will enjoy, this is an unusual dining experience and has been enjoyed by more than 3 million visitors.
